Homepage US Imports The Killing (US)

US drama which ties together three stories around a single murder, including the detectives assigned to the case, the victim's grieving family and the suspects. As the case unfolds, it becomes clear that everyone has a secret...

Episodes 1 & 2 - Pilot/The Cage Premiere

In the feature-length version of the first two episodes, Detective Sarah Linden is about to start a new life in California with her son.  On her last day of work, she and her colleague Stephen Holder are drawn into a new case about the disappearance of 17-year-old Rosie Larsen.

Episode 3 - El Diablo

Detectives Sarah and Holder track down a potential witness to Rosie's murder and are led to a new suspect.  Darren Richmond is hassled by reporters who ask about his connection to Rosie Larsen and how her body came to be found in one of his campaign cars.

Episode 4 - A Soundless Echo

Sarah and Holder pressure Rosie's former boyfriend, Jasper, for answers and later, interview a new suspect.  Elsewhere, Rosie's best friend, Sterling, reveals some surprising truths about Rosie's life and Richmond attends a lavish party in hopes of raising funds for his struggling campaign.  Later, Stan and Mitch plan their daughter's funeral.

Episode 5 - Super 8

Rosie's teacher Bennet Ahmed provides Sarah and Holder with a new piece of evidence.  Richmond's campaign team plans a new anti-crime TV commercial.  Mitch struggles with the loss of her daughter, while Stan becomes more determined to find Rosie's killer, and asks his colleague Belko for help.

Episode 6 - What You Have Left

Sarah and Holder question a suspect's family and neighbours.  Tension mounts between Richmond and his campaign advisor, Gwen, as his team prepares for an important debate with the Mayor. Rosie's funeral takes place, and Stan takes matters into his own hands.

Episode 7 - Vengeance

Stan offers Bennet a ride home from Rosie's funeral, knowing that he's the main suspect in his daughter's murder investigation.  He pulls over on an empty stretch of road and confronts Bennet. After realising what's going on, Holder and Sarah rush to find Stan before he exacts his revenge.

Episode 8 - Stonewalled

While they manage to evade the FBI, Sarah and Holder discover some surprising new evidence. Mitch puts the boys at risk and Richmond decides to use dirty politics.

Episode 9 - Undertow

The police are thwarted in their efforts to arrest Bennet. Richmond thinks long and hard about removing himself from the Mayor's race. Mitch and Stan have had it with the police so they decide to take matters into their own hands.

Episode 10 - I'll Let You Know When I Get There

Bennett may be innocent and in a surprising new turn, another individual turns himself in to the police. Richmond sees his numbers going up in the polls.

Episode 11 - Missing

Sarah and Holder turn up more on Rosie's activities including a link to one of the area casinos but the investigation gets put on hold when Jack goes missing.

Episode 12 - Beau Soleil

Rosie appears to have had an association to a suspicious website while Mitch discovers some secrets about her daughter.

Episode 13 - Orpheus Descending

Orpheus is an important connection to the case as the detectives connect new evidence to Rosie and her murder. While reflecting on the past, Mitch and Stan look long and hard at what the future will hold for them.
