Throughout the fifth series Amy and the Doctor go on some truly extraordinary adventures including travelling to 16th-century Venice, exploring France during the 1890s and visiting the United Kingdom in the far future, now an entire nation floating in space.

However, the Doctor's enemies are never far behind him, including old nemeses the Daleks and Weeping Angels, plus new monsters such as alien vampires, humanoid reptiles and a silent menace that follows the Doctor and Amy wherever they go.

Five years have passed since Amy Pond last saw the Doctor.  But when one day he reappears in her life, she faces a terrible decision.

Episodes 8 - The Hungry Earth / Episode 9 - Cold Blood

It’s 2015 and the most ambitious driling project in history has reached deep beneath the Earth’s crust disturbing a deadly danger from a bygone age. Two part story featuring the classic reptilian creatures, the Silurians.

Episode 10 - Vincent and the Doctor

The Doctor and Amy meet Van Goch and together they battle with a terrifying alien..

Episode 11 - The Lodger

The Doctor is stranded on Earth and cut off from Amy and the TARDIS.  He has to pass himself off as a human being to solve the mystery of a staircase that people go up, but never come down.

Episode 12 - The Pandorica Opens / Episode 13 - The Big Bang

Two part finale featuring Stonehenge and the Daleks, Sonatarans and Cybermen.  The Doctor’s friends unite to send him a terrible warning; the Pandorica - which is said to contain the most feared being in all the cosmos - is opening.  But what is inside, and can the Doctor stop it?  The Doctor and Amy travel to Roman Britain and the first planet in existence for clues.
